MGT317 - HAZARDS MANAGEMENT IN RADIATION SAFETY
Every day we are exposed to hazards and risks. Hazards exist in every workplace Worker involvement is a key part of the legislation, as workers who do the work are usually aware of
the risks and hazards and have ideas on ways of controlling them. Workers are also responsible
for themselves, and to ensure their work does not become a risk or hazard to them or any other person. The important thing is that these hazards are identified and mitigated, in order to minimize the probability of an accident or injury occurring. By identifying the hazards, assessing the risks involved and then controlling or eliminating these risks, the consequences and/or likelihood of illness, injury and death are reduced.
